Happy Thanksgiving

Marvelous Monday

In recess we played football. In science we learned how many points a snowflake has. We learned the big word for a weather person - meteorologist. We colored in science. We did spelling. We learned about Pilgrims and Indians. We read a book about Pocahontas. Pocahontas saved Captain John Smith. We read letters from our Flat Stanley's adventures. We got 6 new letters this week - two were from Australia. Love, the first grade buzzing bees

Wow! It is November 1.

We had a busy day! We had math. In math we learned about open and closed shapes. We had handwriting for morning work. We had phonics and reading. We made weather books in science. We begin making tipis in social studies. We learned about the uses for animal skins in social studies. Have a very super day! Love, the first grade buzzing bees
