100 Days of School Fun

To celebrate the 100th day of school, we had a super fun day. We used the mobile computer lab, counted by 10's to 100, had music, computer class, did art projects, and writing assignments topped off by eating the food we brought. It was a great day had by all.

Mr. Tiller's Visit

Mr. Tiller came to visit and to share with us what he does. We enjoyed hearing about his new "invention" - the Exociter.

Stone Soup

We sure enjoyed making and eating our Stone Soup. Thank you parents for sending in the ingredients to make our soup.

The 99th Day of School

We went to PE and we played kickball. In science, we made a book. Ethan took an AR test today. In phonics and reading we did no cards today. Mrs. Lotz brought in treats for thumbprints today. Tomorrow is our 100th day of school party!! Love, the first grade buzzing bees

Windy Thursday!

Most of us knew our memory today!!! Devon, Macy, Tyler, and Ethan took AR tests today. It got really cold and windy at first recess and lasted all day. We love Mrs. Lotz. (written by a student, not me:)) Macy was calendar helper. We have five more days until the 100th day of school. We can not wait to have our party!! In music we sang lots of songs. Terrific Tuesday!

We did math and it was hard, but we did it very good. In math we are learning about subtracting and adding. It is very easy and we can get it done in a snap. (Two different students perspectives about math.) Tomorrow we will have PE. Ethan came late to school. We ate stone soup yesterday. It was very good. We are so happy that it is Whitney's birthday tomorrow. In social studies we learned about different schools. We sang lots of songs in Jesus Time. Have a super night!

Welcome to January

We had a very great day. In PE we played basketball. We read about a mailman in reading. We worked with magnets in science class. We had calendar, math, and a spelling test today. In math we learned about dimes, nickels, and pennies. Friday is purple and gold day. Love, the first grade buzzing bees
