Happy Mardi Gras!

We had a Mardi Gras parade at the "old folks home" (Gruene Senior Living). Devon went to the doctor yesterday. We had king cake with Mrs. Fink's class. Today we flew our kites in the field and it was perfect kite flying weather. Mrs. Lotz is wearing a Mardi Gras shirt. We ran to the green fence and back to exercise. Tomorrow is silly hat and sassy sock day. Maleyna and Mara ran around the field. We had a great recess. Today we did not have phonics and reading. We had a Pepsi/Coke challenge for the school today. Results to be shared tomorrow. This is part of our science fair project. We had spelling. We sang the 50 states song. Nobody moved a pocket.
